How to create an AI agent
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to configure an AI voice agent step by step.
Steps to create your agent
1) Open the Agents section
- Go to the left sidebar in your dashboard.
- Click "Agents".
2) Create a new agent
- Click "New Agent" (top-right corner).
- Complete the setup flow.

3) Basic settings
- Agent name: Assign a descriptive name.
- Role template: Choose a template (e.g., customer support or sales).
- Voice: Select tone, gender, and accent.
- Prompt language: Spanish, English, or Portuguese.
- Style: Define personality and communication style.
- Success criteria: Define what makes a call successful.
- Timezone: Set the calling timezone.
4) Advanced settings
- Output variables: Numeric, text, and boolean fields to extract after calls.
- Knowledge files: Upload PDFs with FAQs, scripts, or manuals.
- Website URL: Add your website for context.
- Key messages: Define greeting and farewell messages.
5) Test your agent
- Enter your phone number with country code.
- Click "Test call".
- You should receive a call in less than a minute.
